Sara Moin
PhD Candidate
I’m Sara Moin, a Ph.D. research scholar at IIIT-Delhi, where I explore how technology can be meaningfully designed to serve the social good—especially in the context of women’s health in India. My work lies at the intersection of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), feminist technology studies, and participatory design, with a focus on creating culturally grounded, digital interventions for sensitive and critical health topics such as cervical cancer education.
I draw upon qualitative methods and community-based research to amplify marginalized voices in the design of health technologies. My research aims to move beyond one-size-fits-all solutions, engaging with rural and low-resource communities to build inclusive, accessible tools that are both contextually sensitive and socially empowering.
