Manshul Belani
PhD Candidate
I am a PhD candidate in the Human-Centered Design Department at the Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT-Delhi). My research lies at the intersection of Human-Centered Design, Mixed Reality, and Education. Currently, I am exploring how to design and foster sustained adoption of learning environments in virtual reality. My work involves synthesizing design guidelines, building conceptual frameworks, and conducting empirical evaluations to advance the development of effective VR-based learning systems rooted in pedagogical principles.
I am also deeply passionate about inclusion and accessibility and have worked in the past towards the development of assistive technologies for persons with visual impairment. My research has been published at leading HCI venues including CHI, IEEE VR, ISMAR, and MobileHCI.
